week 4.!!

Olla everyone,

this week I was assigned to explain what is the mind mapping technique. A mind map is a diagram used to represent wordsideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged around a central key word or idea. Mind maps are used to generatevisualizestructure, and classify ideas, and as an aid in study, organizationproblem solvingdecision making, and writing.

The elements of a given mind map are arranged intuitively according to the importance of the concepts, and are classified into groupings, branches, or areas, with the goal of representing semantic or other connections between portions of information. Mind maps may also aid recall of existing memories.
By presenting ideas in a radial, graphical, non-linear manner, mind maps encourage a brainstorming approach to planning and organizational tasks. Though the branches of a mindmap represent hierarchical tree structures, their radial arrangement disrupts the prioritizing of concepts typically associated with hierarchies presented with more linear visual cues. This orientation towards brainstorming encourages users to enumerate and connect concepts without a tendency to begin within a particular conceptual framework.
The mind map can be contrasted with the similar idea of concept mapping. The former is based on radial hierarchies and tree structures denoting relationships with a central governing concept, whereas concept maps are based on connections between concepts in more diverse patterns.

so many way to create a good or creative mind mapping. it is depend to individual how their want to create or draw their own mind mapping. here i have included the steps  to create a mind map.

1. start at the centre of a blank, landscape page,
ideally with a colourful image to represent your subject.

2.use words and pictures throughout your map. whereever
possible use single KEY words, printed along a line.
each word or picture sits on its own line.

3.the lines make the associations between ideas as clear
as possible. make them flowing and organic, each line
the same length as the word or image. always ensure that lines
connect to the end of the line at the previous level. typically
lines be thicker at the centre and thinner further out.

4.experiment with different ways of lingking and emphasising different
aspects. use highlighters, codes and arrows as necessary.

5.the structure that should develop will be a radiant hierarchy, with
ideas radiating out from your central theme and main branches

Example of creative mind mapping
